The ground war had turned ugly with the Phoenix Defence League suffering some heavy losses at the front both near the Villa and now on the fringes of Omega Prime. The Villa was about to once again fall back to the Klingons when the unthinkable occurred.
Those who have lived on the colony a long time will remember the discovery of the giant fish bones and the subsequent archeological dig which led the discovery of the Togre, a monsterous tribal people who hunted the oversized fish to near extinction and who had been driven in the core of the colony's land mass by the growing cities of the Phoenix Colony. The Togre once numbered in the 10s of thousands before being killed by early Federation colonists. The tribal Togre had been hidden from site owing more to legends by the students of the Phoenix Colony. Many students were take their dates out to the countryside in an attempt to see a Togre tribesman.
The Klingons were dancing in the Villa when the Tribesmen came over the hills and into the city. The Klingons were in a virtual state of shock. They had fought for days against the Phoenix Defence League. They were not ready for a hand to hand combat war with the Togre. With the skills of the warrior being tested, the tribemen scored a remarkable victory. The size of these man apes, these troglodytes simply overpowered the Klingons.
Commander T'tan contacted the Phoenix Colony Leadership, Nicole Branson and Vincent Viceroy that the Villa was once again under Vulcan control and that the city was at the disposal of the Phoenix Colony. Commander T'tan pledged her loyalty to the colony and its leaders.
Nicole looked at the viewer, "I have just one question."
"What is that?", T'tan responded.
"Why the Togre? Why would the Togre help you and the Vulcans?", Nicole asked.
"We made a deal.", T'tan responded.
"What sort of deal?", Nicole grilled.
"Like you, Nicole, would do for the colony. I would do anything for my city.", T'tan responded.
"Anything....", T'tan responded.
A grunting noise could be heard before the tribal chief appeared and put his arms around her waist.
