The colony did not need this distraction. The failure of the Atlanta Colony under Captain Jonathan Wolf was hailed as a "joke" by the Omega News Network reporter Eden Laree had left the newly developed Phoenix Federation without a resort community.
Nicole was struggling to deal with the report from Fly Jones and Anna Baxton and with the damage to the Baxton One when William Hunt popped up on the HUD, "Nicole, do you remember the trip made by Marcus Dinn to the north of the planetoid?"
"Yes.", Nicole looked puzzled. Hunt had been in hiding, a virtual recluse since the death of his wife.
"I have issued a colony license to Phineas Roarke to move the inhabitants of the Atlanta Colony to the resort.", Hunt explained.
"We need to maintain a resort community.", Hunt continued.
"Please make this as smooth a transition as possible.", Hunt ordered and disappeared.
Nicole wanted to ask him a few questions but there was no asking. Hunt continued to be the mysterious overseer of the Phoenix Federation and its Fleet. Nicole looked up at Elora, "Commander, arrange for a shuttle. I need to head to the south pole."
"What the hell for?", Elora asked.
"We have guests. No, refugees.", Nicole explained.
Vincent walked in, "Where are you going?"
The Commodore had heard only a portion of the conversation. Nicole looked up, "President Hunt has issued a colony charter to the Atlanta Colony for our South Pole Resort."
"Now!", Vincent growled. The colony was gripped by the tensions of the incident near Cairo.
"Apparently, the President was forced with the Atlanta Colony losing its charter.", Nicole explained.
"I am going up there.", Nicole responded.
"Please get a message to Magenta and Brenna.", Nicole requested.
Nicole arrived at the once vibrant resort suddenly filled with odd creatures. Nicole had never met Phineas Roarke and was stunned to see the Dolphin like creature come up to her, "A great love is your only bouy in a hurricane."
Nicole looked at Roarke. Why was he speaking in such odd terms?
"I wish I had a great love.", Nicole frowned.
"Oh you do my dear. You just are having trouble seeing it right now.", Phineas responded.
Rhythm hovered up in the hover chair. Nicole looked at the Aquarian, "Welcome to the Phoenix Colony."
"You will have to bring Magenta up here.", Rhythm looked at Nicole.
"How do you know about her?", Nicole was puzzled.
"Though Mr. Roarke, great things are possible. Life is a fantasy.", Rhythm grinned.
Nicole looked at Phineas, "Welcome."
"You are welcome any time.", Roarke responded.
Nicole was queezy about the relationship between the pair and eerie overseer quality of the entertainment.
