This war has changed people. It has reinvigorated the Phoenix Federation, the Phoenix Fleet, its multiple battlegroups and the centerpiece of the Federation, the Phoenix Colony. The war has sprung forth much change with the integration of the Phoenix Federation and the United Federation of Planets, particularly under the military wing serving Admiral William Hunt.
These great changes have been accompanied by great changes in the personal lives of so many of the staff with new relationships for Admiral Nicole Branson, Major Tanus of Gorn and Colonel Belvedere Brown. These changes have sent ripples through the entire community.
Ships having been coming and going with brief layovers at Governor's Station and Terok Beta. It has allowed for the first mingling of crews in a long time as most ships in the King's Battlegroup have been spending their time on long range patrols protecting the borders from the Retarnee, the Klingons, the Romulans and even at times the Federation.
This mingling has led to another new relationship. Captain S'Nii and Lindsay Viceroy had been together for a long time dating back to their shared experiences in the Omega Academy. Lindsay gave up a lot to be with Sunny. She was shunned by the legendary Viceroy family. She was left on the outside because of her choice of lifestyle. She loved S'Nii so much that she had her ears altered and everything in order to be more like her. The truth is Lindsay could not be Vulcan... not ever.
S'Nii craved Vulcan companionship and here on Governor's Station, she finally found it with Commander S'Ari of the Quest. It was most infortunate as to how it was discovered. Lindsay opened the door of their layover hotel to find S'Nii and S'Ari together.
Lindsay was devastated and even talking about quitting the force. Captain John Warren and Commodore Vincent Viceroy have been age old friends. Vincent convinced John to engage in a simple swap. Lindsay would join his crew and S'Ari would join the Eagle. Both would be winners.
Lindsay would also have access to the best counsellor in the Fleet with Commander Christina Lodge on the Quest. Lindsay would receive some excellent counselling from Dr. Lodge... perfect.
