The momentum was in place for Admiral T'Zohl to succeed Richard Madison in the revolving door chair that is the Head of Starfleet Command. The Vulcan had been doing all the right things. She had kept her nose clean and even defended Paul Warren's lifestyle choices even though they were against her own.
She just needed a push to get over the top. What T'Zohl needed was to succeed where Richard had failed. She needed to get Trmel Shah. The Andorian had brought such chaos in the order by breaking the Andorians away from Starfleet and forming the Armada. No one had been able to get an operative in close enough. No one could. Trmel knew he was a target and did what was necessary to keep his back to the wall.
Russia Trmel and T'Zohl were former lovers but Russia refused to do in her own father. Russia however acted asan intermediary between Commodore T'Zohl and her sister Teshra, Teshra had once been the darling of the King's a Fleet. She and her marine unit, the Terrorists had fought the Romulans in the ground at Cheron VI and fought the Klingonsin the Mountains of Eyja. She gave that all up for the Armada and her father. Teshra had pulled the trigger in the death of Peter Warren. She had lost everything because of this man.
On Nivember 8, 2394, Teshra Trmel, under the authority of Admiral Vincent Viceroy and under the command of a General Belvedere Brown completed her portion of the Sniper mission killing General Trmel Shah on behalf of Commodore T'Zohl of Vulcan.
The death was just the momentum that Admiral T'Zohl needed to push aside the remaining fear over a Vulcan in charge. There would be no arrogance of Admiral V'Roi or no horror of Admiral V'Ros. There would only be order in the Vulcan way.
The social movement that swept her into power soon swooped in on the already struggling President Paul Warren. The Federation wanted a statesman to lead them. The citizenry had met its social commitment by selecting the gender variant Paul Warren but they wanted a statesman not a statement.
With the help of Admiral T'Zohl, President Galileo Leo of Cait was selected as the fifth President of the Federation in less than 2 years. The terrible instability was exactly what the Romulans loved and what allowed the Klingons time to rebuild. Galley and his beautiful wife, Dr. Maple Coren left the restaurant chain in the hands of Leta Felis and joined Federation One on route to Romulus.
Galley has had an amazing life as a disillusioned restauranteur turned Tanmesad mess hall chef rising all the way to a station commander and Admiral before returning to his roots as the head of the Leo's chain. The once cast off fromtheLeo family now represents the whole Cait system and all the citizens of the known worlds as the primary statesman. He is a wonderful story and a wonderful man.
FBN was about to discredit him early by posting very racy pics of Dr. Coren. Christine had garnered access to the pictures and took them to Admiral T'Zohl. The Vulcan-Romulan hybrid could not believe she just did not scoop FBN and have RBC broadcast the images. Had she gone soft?
T'Zohl grinned, "Let them publish the pictures. I will handle this."
Admiral T'Zohl jumped out in front of the image holding a press conference to congratulate her choice for the presidency for his virility in selecting such a beautiful woman as a mate and for his honor in monogamy praising his love for Jessamine Larsen-Leo and now his love for Dr. Maple Coren. She acknowledged that the integrity of her president will never be questioned.
At the evening gala, Admiral T'Zohl appeared in Avery short skirt on the arm of Commodore Wolf Faulkner.
When she was questioned about her attire, the gorgeous Vulcan smiled, "I dress provocatively for my life partner, Commodore Wolf Faulkner. Monogamy is very special. I encourage all of you to try it."
The room was silenced immediately. A successful mission, a crisis averted and a scandal silenced in a mere few days. Starfleet may finally be in good hands.
