Admiral Vincent Viceroy offered the governor's chair to Nicole Branson but she was in no condition to accept. Nicole was grieving over the loss of Mackenzie Smythe and upon learning that the temporal wave had restored Brenna Montgomery to her proper timeline effectively taking two children from their mother.
Bella Pan'Taar who had served as Governor of Reykja Penthe has accepted the position of Governor and will operate out of Veng cha'paj.
The cha'paj is effectively the refuelling station laying on its side in the sand and snow. Admiral Viceroy posed the possibility of assigning the station to Admiral Tan but the portly Hierarchy Clanner declined opting to focus his attention on rebuilding the school in the lower decks of the city.
After some discussion and the confidence that Dr. Skylight Greene would assist both with day to day operations and with the mental health of Nicole Branson, Admiral Viceroy assigned the Veng to the civilian services naming Nicole Branson as mayor elect pending her evaluation by Dr. Greene. Branson remains in a very dark place over the murder of Francois neroQ and the loss of her children.
