Commander T'tan entered the office of Commodore Viceroy. She was in a furor, hardly reminsicent of her Vulcan heritage.
"Commodore, you cannot give control of the Dilithium to the Romulans.", T'tan ordered.
"The Vulcan Council is heavily damaged as a result of the Empire of V'Ros. The Vulcan name is tarnished throughout the Federation and its counterparts including the Phoenix Federation. The Vulcan Fleet was destroyed by your people.", T'tan put her finger into Vincent's face.
"No, by your people. V'Ros was one of yours.", Vincent calmly reminded her.
"Listen, you are the Star Fleet Commanding Officer, order the Omega Sands Project to be turned over to the Villa. We will logically distribute the Dilithium. The Romulans will trade it for favor.", T'tan warned Viceroy.
"Ms. T'tan, please remember that the decision to turn over control to Commander T'Ros was not taken lightly. She has been an enemy of the colony however the ROME facility is now best equipped to turn the Omega Sands into Dilithium. She will distribute evenly and without prejudice. In the end, this was a decision made by Governor Tabrine Mandu.", Vincent explained.
"The stupid grandstanding Cait!", T'tan yelled.
"Besides.", Vincent interrupted, "President William Hunt has a soft spot for the Romulans, despite their behavior."
"Hunt is a fool. He brought down an empire of Vulcans.", T'tan snapped.
"You can't be serious.", Vincent snapped back.
"The Fascist V'Ros is exactly what the Vulcans are not. What you are not.", Vincent glared at the Vulcan.
"I don't trust Commander T'Ros. Romulans can't be trusted.", T'tan calmed and centered herself.
"I would support a military coup to seize power from the civilian government.", T'tan looked at Vincent.
Vincent burst out laughing, "My dear, the whole point of the Fleet is to establish sites for colonization and then turn over those sites to the civilian government. This began with the Phoenix Colony and will continue with New Terra. The reverse would simply not be productive or provide the necessary support for Phoenix Fleet operations."
"The role of Star Fleet on the colony is a support one now. The only person working hard still is Commander Teero to keep all the systems running.", Vincent laughed.
T'tan slammed the door. Vincent chuckled. First S'Nii and now T'tan; whats with all these Vulcan women losing their emotional center.
