“Fleet Admiral Veltkamp we are getting a massive distortion which seems to be coming from a Klingon Fleet that’s at High Warp” reported an Ensign who was currently manning the Tactical Station aboard Starbase Phoenix.
Nicole watched the screen. She thought of William and Tan, two of her closest friends. She thought of the Klingons and their intentions. A fear for herself, her colony and her own family filled her mind. She watched towards Vincent's office. Elora came walking out, "there is a Klingon ambassador wishing to speak to you, ma'am."
Nicole scoffed, "Tell him to stand down at New Terra and then we will talk."
Nicole brushed by the Klingon and walked in to see the Commodore, "Prepare all defences. The Klingons will be coming."
"Inform the Archangel immediately.", Commodore Viceroy looked at Elora.
'I will contact John myself. Contact Governor's Station to go on high alert.", Vincent ordered.
The Klingon tried to speak but no one would listen. The Klingon stormed out. He was trying to explain that the Klingon Empire has no knowledge of this activity.
The Klingon next travelled to Vorta'Rome. He was shocked to see Commander T'Ros watching the same ONN New Talos feed. She spoke in Romulan and turned to her support staff, "Launch the Eagle's Talon II. Inform the Proconsul of the Klingon activity."
The ambassador tried to speak to T'Ros but was forced from the building by her staff. He was literally begging to tell her that the whole thing was not representative of the empire.
He stood outside alone. He traveled to the Villa. Commander T'tan has become the subject of much criticism of late and with ongoing revelations about her involvement with Titan industries and furthermore with the possibility of her being involved in an ugly Vulcan political deal surrounding art and memorabilia. She is hardly a reliable source. She however would at least listen.
Now the hard part, convincing the Phoenix Federation that she, of all her underhanded tactics, and her new found friend were not lying. The Klingon Empire is NOT invading the Phoenix Federation. Try and tell that to the citizens of New Terra.
