Captain John Warren and Commander T'Zohl first noticed the massive item moving throughout space on return from the Tholian Investigation. John reported the discovery to Commander Cheerful Vasa. Cherry reported to Vincent who wanted further investigation and headed for Governor's Station.
Vincent hated the teleporter ride to Governor's Station but it was far quicker than a shuttle. Vincent and Commodore Tan looked over the data. Neither could determine what the large Orb was but were certain it had to do with the rise in Tholian aggression. They must feel as though they have an advantage. Vincent wanted a more clear reading of the image and invited Commander Teero to Governor's Station to take a look.
Acrylos, Felicity Powers and Vice President Nicole Branson arrived on the station. After some study and some excellent work by Teero, by Commander Summer Vasa and by Lieutenant Caitlin Wu, the three prepared for the briefing.
The three could provide an image.
The three could provide the speed of travel but they could provide little else.
Commodore Tan looked puzzled. Vincent looked at the portly Hierarchy Clanner, "What is it?"
"I am not certain. I will have to do some more checking.", Tan responded.
"Keep us in the loop.", Teero responded.
The clanner left the room mumbling, "Why here? Why now?"
Vincent looked at Teero, "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
Teero just shrugged. The Tholian Threat was already filled with more mystery than either liked.
