Let me understand this for a moment. The colony now has a fourth city thanks to a sister fleet relationship with the Alliance of Guardians, the notorious rogue fleet under William Hunt. The colony allows a zero point energy experiment to occur without informing the general populace. The colony exposes the entire planet to the potential of a Project Genesis failure if the zero point construction cannot be controlled and does this without even a single notice to the office of the Chief Information Officer. This is a responsible government.
Worse yet, knowing the history of the Romulan problem on the Omega Planet, our illustrious commander allows a Romulan, a known deserter and a criminal, Colonel Merken Vreenak to assume command of Atlantica on an interim basis. Let's see, our known rival, Commander T'Ros has an Omega Cube and is allegedly experimenting with using it as a weapon and now Colonel Vreenak, another Romulan is in control of a zero point energy weapon. Nice job, Vice Admiral Branson. Place us all at risk to satisfy you lofty "home" ideal.

What does the Fleet do to this niave, silly little girl, not only do they continue to give her more authority, they make her Governor of the whole freaking colony. Insane.
I am insane with rage knowing that she is now responsible for the entire colony and worse yet, Admiral Tim Veltkamp represents the business hub of the Omega Fleet Territory in the Governor's House of Representatives in a bizarre twist of the chain of command.
My first inclination is that Nicole and Tim must be "together" and that is how she manipulates him to get more power but now I have learned that she is bedding the damn Cardassian half breed who is the new Chief Science Officer with design research on our own Omega Weapons of Mass Destruction. This Cardassian is a former Orion love slave and a notorious gangster stripper and now she has a plumb role on the colony and worse yet, she will be teaching science at the Academy.
This is the most mixed up group ever assembled and the only person responsible for that is Vice Admiral Nicole Branson. She is an absolute idiot. She should be making awards in a tiny studio and filling out requisitions and not be in charge of the damn academy, and worse yet, the whole damn planet.
Resign, Vice Admiral Branson, before you get us all killed.
