Christine looked at Nicole as she walked into the main corridor of the building, "The Talosians have fought a 1000 year civil war with the Iconians. The Talosians are so tired of war that they abandoned the city of Tokyo for the offshore domed cities of Osaka rather than fight the Tamarians. The Hawks of Hell are so feared that their name is known throughout the universe and yet they walked away. The Talosians are so tired of war that they would do anything for security."
Before Christine could break the news to Nicole, Captain Alexander Paige walked in, "Nicole, Nicole, Nicole, you would have to know that the Federation would end up in control of the Dilithium trade. You have to know that no matter how much of a fight you put up, the pathetic Phoenix Federation and its tiny Phoenix Fleet was never gonna have control of the Dilithium Trade. Your precious William Hunt is a hero. I don't have no doubt about that. He was responsible for the liberaton of the Federation."
Alexander walked over to Nicole, he grabbed her hair and pulled her head back, "But, Princess, this is Federation land. Always was and always will be."
Zek Ishka, the Ferenginar Trader came walking into the Federation Complex. Christine looked at Alexander. She wanted the pleasure of making the announcement. Paige looked at Nicole and then at Zek, "Welcome Governor Ishka."
Nicole looked at Christine, "What the f**k?"
Christine looked at Nicole, "General John Wayne made a deal with the Ferengi Trader to ensure that the City of Osaka would be left off the list of targets by the Zaranites."
Nicole looked at a picture of General Wayne on the wall of the Governor's Offices, "Oh John."
Ishka walked right up in front of Nicole and shook Alexander's hand and pulled him in for a hug. Nicole looked at Ishka and glared like only a woman scorned can.
Nicole stepped towards the Ferengi, "Easy hellcat, I may have something for you as well."
Nicole glared at Zek, "What the hell could you offer me?"
"A meeting.", Zek grinned.
"I am not meeting that snot nosed arrogant Montgomery. There is nothing to discuss.", Nicole shouted.
Alexander stepped towards Nicole. Zek raised his hand. The Zaranites will meet with you if you wear the traditional garb of their people.
"What the hell is the traditional garb of the Zaranites?", Nicole snapped.
"The Zaranites used to trade slaves in the Beta Quadrant. They would capture humans from Star Ships and dress them up in a garb to make them appealing to their people. Humans are long pigs. They were ugly. Dressing them up in something fancy makes them more appealing to the fellow Zaranites.", Ishka explained.
Alexander burst out laughing, "Dressing up the Indians and parading them through the streets like the old west."
Christine was disgusted and stepped towards Alexander, "Down Parakeet of the Phoenix. This must be done."
Christine glared at Alexander and then back at the Nicole dressed up like a a painted clown. What have they done for the price of security?
