Colonel Strausser met the SRT in the jungles near Tokyo. The SRT needed to be briefed. There could be no mistakes. Thus far, the Klingons are only moving on a political level. To provoke any sort of attack would be considered foolish. Taryn looked at the New Terra Demolitions Expert, "This is our house. This will be done under our rules."
New Terra fed on the emotions of President William Hunt. They were brash, confident and did not fear the enemy. The colony was a different place. Wars were fought using biological warfare. Things were done quiet, a least to maintain the ilusion of peace.
Taryn was to meet the incoming delivery ship as well but chose to send Casper Wells and the Diana to meet with them. Casper had to make them understand. This would be done quietly and without incident. The colony needed to be stronger than this rage.
Taryn sent Major Tanus with Casper. She feared that Casper would see loyalty to his father Vice Admiral William Wells. Tanus spent time with the crew of the Diana as they prepared to meet with the ship.
Indigo Coren is a special case. She is the Diana Chief Engineer. She was the darling of the Omega Academy having served as its Valedictorian. She is the sister of Magenta Coren. Indigo and Tanus spent the afternoon in the Castle, the Diana lounge. They talked about the colony, about the Diana and about Hunt and the goals of the Klingons.
Their conversation turned to relationship, to Tamryn Laree and even to Colonel Belvedere Brown. Indigo was a bit weirded out by the discussions of same sex relationship. Indigo looked at Tanus, "You are like the colony, confused."
"You need to decide who you are. You need to decide.", Indigo looked at Tanus.
"Bell is my friend. My best friend.", Tanus looked at Indigo.
"None of you understand. You are NOT Dragons. We have fought together.", Tanus looked at Indigo.
Tanus looked at Indigo, "No one cared anymore; for either of us. No one could understand what we do."
Indigo looked at Tanus, "Nicole used to tell me that too. She needed to find her touch with reality."
"And how do you propose I do that, Indigo?", Tanus looked at the Betazoid Officer.
"I have just the thing...", Coren responded.
"I love you, Indigo.", Tanus looked at his Betazoid beauty.
