The Rover Powers Movement is an incredible place. RPM is always hopping at night. Rover is a fine host and a great man. Christine walked into the club and immediately felt the energy. She saw Rover being the bar laughing and joking with his Antican Peers.
Christine motioned to Rover that she would like to speak with him. The pair walked into Rover's office. Christine looked at Rover and laid the PADD on the table. The HUD slowly appeared showing Cleveland Powers and the Proletariat hogs exchanging cash. Christine looked at Rover, "What do you know?"
Rover looked at Christine, "Werner told me that you came to see him earlier today. He knew that we had had a tryst. Werner also told me that you showed him the image."
Christine looked at Rover, "Come on, Rover. What do you know?"
Christine tried to cuddle up to Rover. He shoved her away, "I know that you don't really want me or Rodney. You just want the information. I have watched ONN since I came to this place. You will do anything for the story. Get out of my office."
Christine looked at Rover, "Its not like that, Rover. Werner is committed on to the Dogs of War. He wants me when he wants me. I want someone more permanent. Someone who is honorable, like a mayor and respected business owner."
Rover shoved Christine, "Get the hell out of my office, you lying bitch!"
Rover had a secret chuckle over the bitch reference, being of dog descent. Christine left without a story. Werner did not want her. Rover did not want her. Caesar was killed at the Commune. She was alone.
Christine sat at home staring out the windows, "Cleveland, are you really out there? Are you just a ghost haunting us?"
She looked down towards the parkade. She saw him looking up at her apartment. She saw Rover.
Christine walked down to the parkade. She looked at Rover. He stood there silent before finally speaking, "Are you for real?"
Christine looked at Rover, "I want to know where Cleveland Powers is? How did he do it?"
Rover turned and started to walk back towards his hover car. Christine looked at Rover, "I would be grateful for the information."
Christine thought of their night together in Paris. Rover too could not help but think of the night with Christine in the golden lingerie and him in his battle garb.
Christine looked at Rover, "Very grateful."
Rover watched as the door opened. He sat down on the seat and then looked at Christine, "Cleveland is very dangerous. All those who touch the Dogfather are tainted. We owe him."
Christine looked at Rover and ran and grabbed the door, "What?"
"I was on a Star Fleet Pension. I could not afford a bar.", Rover rested his head in his hands.
"Rover.", Christine kissed his head. The soft dog like fur felt cool on her lips. She knew that Rover had taken money from the family. She knew now how he became Mayor of Paris. Her hatred for Cleveland Powers grew even more.
"I have already told you too much. I cannot afford to put Rodney at risk. I have been told.", Rover responded, pulling his legs into his car.
Christine stepped over his legs and straddled his crotch. Rover looked up at her. Christine smiled, "A deal is a deal."
She started grinding against his groin. Rover looked up, "I have given you nothing."
"No, Rover, you have given me something more. You have shown me that you care about your son and your community more than yourself. These are traits to admire.", Christine slid down on the manhood of the Antican bartender.
"Even love.", her body quivered and she matched rhythm with the mighty Antican.
"You have to get him. You have to get him this time.", Rover looked at Christine.
"We will get him.", Christine felt something incredible. She had not felt it before. She had had relationships with several people on the colony. She had enjoyed herself immensely, but this time it was something different. The feeling was something special.
Christine thought to herself, "Oh my god, I think I love Rover Powers."
Christine held Rover so tight after he finished up, "What was that for?"
Christine looked him in the eyes, "Rover, I think I love you."
Rover looked at Christine. He was in shock. He thought she was pumping him for information. He never expected this at all. He thought of Rodney. He thought of Paris. He looked at Christine, "I have to go. I am sorry."
Christine got off and pulled up her pants. She watched as Rover disappeared. She knew that she had scared him. Christine thought to herself, "I love Rover Powers."
