"Thank you for coming, Monty.", Zek looked at Monty Viceroy.
"Look, Ferengi, this is no picnic. What is going on?", Monty looked at Zek.
"Monty, there is a legend that the Chalice of Kahless was tossed into space from a Klingon vessel forever lost to the Royal Houses of Klingon. The Chalice was tossed in an effort to penalize the High Houses. The pain in the Klingon heart would exist for decades. It would bring wars, it would bring rage and it bring unrest to all that is Klingon.", Zek explained.
"There is a belief amongst the Klingon people that the colony appeared here to catch the Chalice of Kahless. Now the Klingons are looking for it and they will stop at nothing to get it.", Zek continued.
"Why are you telling me?", Monty asked.
"Vincent refused to see me.", Zek explained.
"He needs to know, everyone needs to know.", Zek continued.
"The Klingons believe that the Togre know where the Chalice is and they will either find the chalice or they will begin to kill the Togre until they are told where it is.", Zek warned.
Monty looked at Zek, "I still don't understand why you are telling me this."
Zek filled Monty's glass and then walked away. Monty poured back the glass of wine and then walked outside. Why was the Ferengi so interested in the colony leadership knowing about the search for the Klingon artifact?
Monty started for his hover car when Cleveland Powers stepped out of the shadows. Monty could not believe his fortune. First, the scum of the Ferengi on the colony and now the Dogfather....
"Zek has a sale for the Chalice. Legend has it that whomever possesses the Chalice earns the rights of Kahless and becomes rightful ruler of the Klingon Empire. If it is here, the House of Klingon could descend on the colony and turn its surface into ashes.", Cleveland looked at Monty.
"Don't let the Ferengi sell the throne of Klingon. This must be earned.", Cleveland sounded more like a philosopher than a mafia don.
Monty got into his car. Cleveland looked at him, "The colonists must find the chalice before the Klingons or the battle for the Chalice will turn the colony into a wasteland."
Monty knew that the Dogfather was right. All hell would break loose if the colonists did not find the Chalice. Monty secretly wished he did not have this information. He was supposed to be retired for crying out loud.
