Lavender spent the day on Second Corinthians cleaning up the paperwork preventing Rear Admiral Tehran any more access to the wormhole until his motives could be verified. The Andorian's attempt to covert the wormhole into a weapon and quite possibly an armegeddon style weapon by affecting the timeline has sent the colony into a protective dither once again.
Lavender also spent some time with Biologist and Scientist Dr. Magenta Lau. The girls talked about her sister, about her relationship with Nicole and about her life as Dr. Lasiter Lau. Lavender was very curious about the Trill and his relationship with Dr. Martin Warren as well. Martin had been the first non-trill merger and now Magenta had become the first Betazoid merger.
Lavender was very nervous around Magenta. Magic and Nikki were one of the very best couples in the history of the Phoenix Colony. After the day, the pair met with Thandie, Eugenio, Elizabeth and T'tan for supper. Magenta listened as Liz and T'tan teased one another about their relationship and listened as Eugenio and Thandie continued to build their bond.
She finally looked at Lassie, "I think I will chose Eugenio."
"Huh?", Lassie responded.
"Lasiter, the original Trill scientist kept alive by this bonding was a heterosexual. Obviously, Magenta had some of her father's genetics in her. I would feel more comfortable in a traditional and proper relationship.", Magenta responded.
Lassie did not like the words traditional and proper but she was so relieved to know she would not have to compete with Magic for Nikki. She hugged Magenta, "I think you have made a great choice."
Lassie ate quickly and headed for the surface. She rushed out to Little Lakaria to her home. She raced upstairs.
Nicole had been at the the Colony Complex and even had taken the USS Tongue to New Terra to brief Vice Admiral Wells on the incident. Nicole was hurt to learn that Admiral John Williams knew what Rear Admiral Tehran was attempting but let the experiment proceed in order to get the data necessary for Starfleet to do its own testing.
Nicole came to the house, "Lassie..."
There was no answer. Nicole looked around, "Brenna?"
She found a PADD. She picked up and read, "Gone to Meadow's to play with Mckenzie. - Brenna"
Nicole went upstairs. Lavender was standing in the entry way to their quarters.
Nicole smiled, "What's this all about?"
"I don't want you to leave me for Magic so I am gonna show you what you might be missing.", Lassie giggled.
Nicole raced after Lassie... Wahooo!
