Nicole looked out at the struggles of the colonists. They were trying to figure out who had what for inventories. With the personal replicator technology, there was hardly anyone who had any food reserves. The few colonists who loved to cook had many vegetables etc in reserve.
Galley Leo, the former Caitain Cook on the USS / CGV Tanmesad who has risen to even command Terok Beta for a time in the history of the colony is now fast becoming the most popular person on the colony because of his ability to prepare meals with his food reserves.
The Arboritium operated by Hyla Teero and Eden Laree is now a popular hangout because of the fruit. The colonists are working very hard to get through this. ONN has reported through Colonel Acrylos Teero that the pulse will last approximately 3 to 5 weeks. Everyone believes that the Retarnee will begin their third ground assault in Week 5 when the colonists should be disorganized and weak.
Nicole has been continually rebuffing the advances of Wendy Wells. There is just too many political issues with Wendy becoming more than her student. Wendy has tried really hard, even exposing her nipples to Nicole at the Academy embarrassing both.
Nicole was so stressed, even Brenna could not bring her out of the doldrums. Wendy walked into the suburban house of Nicole and Brenna in Little Lakaria. Nicole turned around to see the young student.
The flower in her hair was something that Orchid always did and the butterfuly tattoo was something reminiscent of Lavender Coren. Nicole shook her head, "You cannot be Orchid, Magenta or Lassie."
"I don't want to be them. I am Wendy Wells and I want to be your girlfriend.", Wendy looked at Nicole.
"No you don't", Nicole exclaimed.
"Yes I do!", Wendy stomped her foot.
"Everyone who gets close to me dies!", Nicole frowned.
"Not me.", Brenna came out and hugged the leg of Wendy. Nicole knew immediately that little Brenna had invited the lovely Ms. Wells. Brenna was always trying to make her mother feel happy.
"Brenna!", Nicole snapped.
"We can get through this together.", Wendy looked at Nicole.
"Wendy, I don't think we get through this one. There is only enough food reserves to last about 3 weeks. We need to last five and no ships can get in or out. The Valley of Giza is now a ship graveyard. The Retarnee may be able to have their colony now.", Nicole frowned.
"Where is the Nicole who came here when there was only 24,000 students in a tiny Academy?", Wendy asked.
"There is 13 million people here. There are several cities.", Wendy smiled.
"Just more people to be killed by the Black Widow.", Nicole depressingly responded.
"Not at all... Just more people who believe in you.", Wendy walked towards Nicole and gave her hug.
Nicole pushed her away. Wendy looked at Brenna and then back at Nicole. Wendy looked at Nicole again and then pulled her close forcing a hug.
Nicole tried to pull away. Nicole looked at Brenna. Brenna smiled, "I will leave you two alone."
Wendy giggled and tried to kiss Nicole. Nicole tried to pull away and fell towards the couch. Wendy then kissed her deeply on the mouth.
"I could kill you.", Nicole frowned.
"I will take that risk.", Wendy offered.
