"If you cross the wall and invade Bajoran territory, we will respond in kind. There is only one way in and there is no element of surprise anymore.", Vincent shouted back.
"The Cardassian Guard is once again achieving great honor with the occupation of Ephyra, once we take the capital, a base of operations will be established to take the homeworld. Cardassia Prime will fall to the Union in Exile. For Union!!", Varno ended his transmission.
The marines had suffered great losses in the Cardassian invasion, they were ready to extract some revenge. Colonel Belvedere Brown walked in to watch the end of the Varno transmission. He looked at Vincent, "We are ready."
Vincent looked at Nicole. Nicole was indecisive, "These Bajorans have seen so much war."
Vincent snapped, "If you don't stand against tyranny, you will have nothing to stand for."
Nicole looked at the image of Varno still burned in the HUD display, "Defend the capital."
Brown walked up to the viewer, "My name is Belvedere Brown, Colonel in the Star Fleet Marines. I fought the Borg at Antican B7. I have fought the Vulcan Oppression at the Phoenix Colony. I have fought for the rights of the lesser armed to exist. We will defend the capital."
Varno could be heard chuckling at the boast, "You lost to the Borg at Antican B7. You lost to the Retarnee at the Phoenix Colony. You lost to us here on Ephyra. There is a theme, Colonel. You lost!"
Commander Tanus walked in, "The Dragons are ready and at your disposal."
He looked at Brown. Varno laughed once more, "The Gorn is supposed to scare me. He ran on the Phoenix Colony. He and his so called special forces lost here too. I am not afraid."
"You should be.", Elena walked in. The Bajoran was always picking on Brown and Tanus but did not look so playful this morning.
"Bajoran, you will make a fine comfort woman once my victory is assured. I think I should take you and Nicole for my personal comfort.", Varno boasted knowing that Elena was a homosexual like Branson.
On August 3, 2391, the Cardassian Guard crossed the Great Wall of Ephyra and entered the Capital. This was supposed to be the great re-occupation of a Bajoran planet but instead the Dogs of War under Colonel Belvedere Brown, the Pound under Lt. Kira Elena, the Dragons under Gorn Commander Tanus and the Zombies under Colonel Zoe Beamon restored their honor and the honor of Ephyra. The victory achieved by the Marines of the King's Fleet will become the stuff of legend. Children will be told that when the devil came back, a small group of marines stood against tyranny and stood for what was right.

On the Odoital, Vash watched the events unfold as Anora walked onto the bridge dressed in Cardassian Black. He looked at the stunning Bajoran. The moments of their connection mirrored the events of the colony.
She invaded the room in Cardassian black filled with the pride of an invader. He responded with a hug and a different kind of battle ensued. Once back in his quarter, the great invasion occurred. Vash felt the warmth of her Bajoran core as he took the last bit of sanity of Minister Varno. He took Anora from him. This was a celebration. A victory had occurred on the surface and something magical had occurred on the Odoital. Anora and Vash were merged as a couple. Vash had the day.
Varno looked at Anwar as the Legate entered the room. Anwar looked at Thua'ra, "You told me we had this."
"I had no idea of their resolve, Legate Anwar. This is going to be much harder than I anticipated.", Thua'ra responded.
"Not if you had an ally.", Ambassador T'Ken entered the war room in Lakaria in Exile.
