Major Tanus of Gorn walked into the Dr. Julian Bashir Institute holding room. He stood there and stared at Commander Samantha Warren. She had not changed a day despite 10 years having gone by since the Deep Space 12 Tholian War. At first, he was just going to go back to his quarters but he could not help himself.
"Samantha.", Tanus walked into the room.
"Tanus?", Samantha looked at the Gorn.
"Oh god!", she cuddled into his big arms. He at first resisted but then closed his lizard arms on her upper torso.
Tanus would explain his career to Samantha. He talked glowingly about serving on the USS California in the Epsilon Force, about serving as Chief of Security on Sigma Station Alpha and the USS / CGV Tanmesad in the Omega Fleet. He grinned as he described his Special Forces Unit to his one truly romantic love.
Tanus also told Samantha about Dr. Meadow Coren, the notorious nympho he tried to tame on the Phoenix Colony and his current love, Dr. Madison Laree. He also talked glowingly about Mackenzie Smythe, Meadow's son by Captain Anderson Smythe who had become a sort of protege of his.
Samantha was overjoyed the once mercilous mercenary could talk protecting a child, about love and about the service to Star Fleet, the King's Fleet and the Ephyra Colony. She listened and grew with admiration of her former protege.
"Have you seen John?", Tanus asked.
"Yes, he and Commander Keystone have been by.", Samantha frowned. John had moved on.
Tanus thought he had moved on too but seeing Samantha, especially unchanged over a decade brought back some old feelings.
"Have you seen this?", Samantha handed Tanus Dr. Hulanen Laree's famous sexuality and sentients book about sex outside your species.
Tanus half chuckled. He remembered Dr. Laree giving him the book during his relationship with her daughter Teena Laree. He looked at Samantha, "I have seen it."
"Commander T'Zohl gave me the book.", Samantha looked at Tanus.
"I have been reading the section on Gorn physiology.", Samantha gave Tanus the look.
"Despite your size, your appendage is slightly smaller than a human male.", Samantha looked at Tanus.
"It is not the size of the weapon.", Tanus grumbled.
Samantha looked at Tanus, "I would like to test that theory."
Tanus walked back and closed the door, "Are you sure we are private here?"
"It will have to do.", Samantha grinned, beginning to undress. She had thought of this moment for a decade. She remembered with great fondness the love they shared in the Tholian Prison. Tanus used to read her poetry. He used to praise her with great love.
Soon the mighty Gorn was giving his best lesson in weaponry to the beautiful wife of Captain John Warren. Samantha was overjoyed at the fun. Tanus was overwhelmed with emotion. He had had several great loves, Teena Laree, Meadow Coren and now Madison Laree but he had not shared the intimacy that Samantha and him had known on that Tholian Moon. This was a very romantic moment.
Madison suddenly opened the door to see Tanus on top of Samantha. She screamed, "So this is how it is!!"
Tanus looked up, "Madison, it just... it just... it just happened."
"She is the wife of the Task Force Commander. You will be courtmartialed for this, you son of a bi**h!!", Madison stormed from the room.
"Dammit!", Tanus started to stand up.
"Did I saw you could leave?", Samantha looked at the Gorn.
Tanus looked at the door and then at Samantha... A pissed off girlfriend or his one true love...
