Nicole could not believe the time had come. It seemed as hough it had been forever since she first studying medicine under the guidance of Dr. Skylight Greene. Four years ago, at the original Omega Colony and the Omega Academy, she was content to be nothing more than an Administrative Ranked officer in the Omega Fleet.
Now, through too many battles to name and the loss of too many friends, she wanted more. She had been Governor of three colonies on four terms. She had been both Vice Chancellor and Chancellor of two Academies. She had overseen the graduation of many a great students from D'Tall and S'Nii to watching her own Brenna blossom into a 14 year old cadet. She now needed to get some practicum experience.
She had been a battlefield medic during two major conflicts on the Phoenix Colony. She had even performed surgeries in that role but she needed the certifcation. She had lots of help. She has Dr. Catherine Coren who wants more than just to be her tutor. She has Skye who has both been an enemy and a friend. She has all the time she spent with Dr. Penny Prang'Laar and Dr. Orchid Coren.
It was time to get down to business. She had always been a chancellor to these students. To sit amongst them was an odd experience. Nicole sat at the back of the room. She did not want to the focus of the class.
Nicole was shocked when Alexis Bladon came walking into the room. The Hive's dangerous fighter pilot is also entering her practicum year as a doctor. Alexis plunked down next to Nicole and the pair soon were working on labs together trying to learn to be doctors.
Nicole did not even see it happening but others in the room did.
Nicole has a real problem again... She tends to bring on the suitors... Olive Pan'Taar, Catherine Coren, S'Nii of Vulcan and now Alexis Bladon...
