The Task Force Meetings always brings the commanding officers to the wej'veQ to get briefings on the Klingon activities, Romulan movements, and even the Starfleet ship locations. This week's meeting also included the introduction of the Observatory as part of the Academy and of Caitlin Wu as the new curator.
Caitlin hosted a gala in the evening to celebrate the opening of the Observatory. These events are always about the vessel commanders showing off their wares. Some very beautiful gowns were worn by Summer Vasa and even the silver skinned Tania Branson but the first person to actually steal the evening was Gowan Garak as she and Vash Enranet lit up the starry evening with her starry dress.
Gowan thought she and her short dress might have stolen the night hands down but she had a surprising rival. General Tanus was a bit late. After meeting with the Fleet, the Gorn still had to brief the marine units on the Task Force message and on known Klingon ground encampments.
Tanus and Paul arrived a bit late. Paul had that extra bit to get ready. All the ladies were a bit jealous that Commander Paul Warren may have stolen the night and he was not even a woman.
Thank goodness for Gowan Garak or Paul surely would have stolen the night.
