Commander Teero took Nicole and Vincent down into the bowels of the city. The Bajoran explained that the city is not permitted to even tap into the Omega Core anymore but relies on its existence to heat the molten layer below the surface of the Omega planet. This valuable and flowing power source has been instrumental in the construction of massive replicators and allowed for the awesome speed of construction for which the Government of Territory Omega is most famous for.
The engineering lesson was more of a review for the former Fleet Admiral of the King's Fleet, Vincent Viceroy but served as an excellent reminder for Vice Admiral Nicole Branson. Both however had a single question...
"What is the meaning of this lesson, Commander Teero?", they asked, almost in unison.
Acrylos smiled and turned on a monitor showing the beautiful pyramid city of Cairo and the slow lights of tracer torpedoes leaving the city, lobbed into the neighbouring Paris. Neither Nicole nor Vincent needed to be reminded about the horrors of the Cats and Dogs Civil War.
Acrylos smiled once more and then walked up to a console... He entered a series of security codes and then slowly pulled down a level. The city of Cairo flickered and then went dark. The torpedoes stopped. Everything stopped.
The commander turned to his superiors, "Do you want me to address them or would you like to do it?"
Vincent smiled and put his arm around the Bajoran, "You, my friend are a genius."
Nicole looked at Acrylos, beaming with pride, "Thank you."
Vincent opened a hailing frequency and then created a booming radius around Cairo and Paris.

Vincent pointed at Acrylos who slowly turned the power back on. Vincent held out his hand and shook hands with the Engineer. He was not looking forward to Captain Leo bombing the cities.
