"The King's Fleet will agree to remove Lady Tyran of command of the USS / GCS Tyranny or the fleet will remove the Tyranny from the Fleet roster and return the heavy cruiser to the Gorn Hegemony.", General Kabarann demanded.
Tania looked at Hon'Tihl, "I will take it under advisement."
"Sweetie, this is not a request. If the Tyranny gets close to the border once more, we will rout the colony of Camelot.", Honey snarled.
Tania walked from the room. She bordered a shuttle for the Tyranny to break the news. Lady Tyran frowned, "I came here to help. I will resign if another Gorn will take the command."
Major Tanus declined the offer almost immediately. Tania was disappointed with the decision. She looked at Lady Tyran and bluntly asked her to return the vessel to Gorn space.
Kiera walked in, "There is another option."
Tania looked at her, "Please, we know how your last command went."
Lady Tyran looked at Rear Admiral Branson, "Not so fast, Tania. I will withdraw my command in favour of my almost step daughter, Commander Kiera Tanus."
"You cannot have rank aboard the ship at all. The Klingons must see the student as the Commanding Officer.", Tania demanded.
"I agree. I will be nothing more than the aide to visiting Admiral Illyan Coren.", Lady Tyran agreed.
"But Tee, she is a child and she already lost a ship in her career.", Illyan looked at the Gorn female. She had been around only a few days and turned the fleet on its ear.
"You of all people should know that the colonies are about second, third and even sixth chances.", Lady Tyran mocked the colony's history.
Illyan contacted Alexander to announce his ongoing service as a visiting Admiral aboard the Tyranny. He tried to explain his reasons for staying but even he had difficulty coming to grip with assisting the tenuous trading peace between the Klingons and the colonists.
Why would he stay?
He looked at the Gorn female on the end of the bed. He thought of Loiza and he thought of being alone. He thought of his lost children Orchid and Magenta. He just wanted to belong.
