Ophelia walked into the classroom... DURING A LECTURE. She grabbed Libby by the hair and drug her out into the hallway.
"Listen child, you stay away from Nicole. She is mine, do you understand.", Ophelia tossed Libby against the lockers.
"I won't do it.", Libby crawled to her feet.
"Prang'Laar, I have seen the bruises on her hips and her arms. You don't even love her. You just want to control her.", Libby shouted.
Ophelia came back and grabbed her by the hair, "I do love her. She is mine. Stay out of my business, Piglet."
"You aren't even sent into heat by the human. She does not even excite you. You don't want her at all. This is about control.", Libby taunted.
"You don't even know what heat is child.", Ophelia snapped.

Even the humano-centric Tellarites have multiple child births and prepare to nurture the young in advance of the pregnancy.
