Tiara contacted Colonel Teero. They all contact the Colonel. Despite two significant demotions, he is still the Chief Engineer in the fleet.
The Chariot's mighty four nacelle system is only capable of the remarkable speeds when the nacelles can be brought on stream quickly. The problem the Caitian pilot turned engineer was having is sequencing the prompt start up when running only on the impulse engines or in normal cruising fleet with only two nacelles engaged.
Tiara could not get all four nacelles on at full power without shutting right down. This is simply not acceptable when running from a Klingon vessel.
The Bajoran Colonel took a shuttle out to the Chariot. He was stunned to see the changes in look of the former straight laced pilot. She looked like a mechanic; tough as nails engineer. Acrylos was proud of his influence on the young Caitian. Previously, she had only been renowned for trying to break up Galley and Jess on the Tanmesad. Tiara looked hot.
Acrylos spent the day sequencing the start up with the beautiful Caitian soon able to give the Tholian hybrid Velvet Sanders the exit speed she needed. Tiara walked over and grabbed a bottle of champagne from the replicator and sat on the floor with her mentor.
"So I hear that a Caitian student once got you into a whole bunch of trouble.", Tiara teased and flirted at the same time.
Before Acrylos could answer, she grinned, "I am not a student."
She leaned over and kissed the colonel. Acrylos thought of Magdelena, Corianna and even Mosita but soon those thoughts disappeared. What the hell?
