"Argh!!", Bella shouted, "You would chose to be governor of a minuscule colony over being the First Lady of Tellar Prime."
"Yes.", Nicole bluntly responded.
"My father has offered me the opportunity to be the Pan'Taar candidate for Prime Minister, a role usually given to the male son of the Fleet Admiral. This is an important role and a political success story. I could be an icon for females in the Tellar community.", Bella screeched trying to make Nicole understand.
"The only thing I can offer is the position of mayor of Camelot. Aadarsh neroQ set the standard by placing Carleton Porter in the role.", Nicole tried to calm her younger female Tellarite lover.
"It is not the same!", Bella shouted storming from the room.
Nicole rubbed her face. This should be a time of celebration. The victory on "the grand day" has restored the balance of power and led to the withdrawal of Romulan support for the House of Larle and the citizens of Reykja Penthe had restored her to the role of governor.
