Nicole was furious when she learned that the colony had been involved with human trafficking. She spoke directly to Cleveland Powers who told her that he was untouchable. She would not be able to get him. This only infuriated the Vice Admiral even more. She did the next best thing, she commissioned Commander Acrylos Teero to build more housing, particularly in Wells City to prevent anyone from being homeless.
Nicole had been distracted from her daunting appearance; her white hair and had been distracted from her true sorrow. Baby Trista Coren has been removed from the colony and taken to Betazed. Orchid Coren has had her rank removed. She has been removed as head of the Yang Liwei Biological Research Center. Orchid had not been home since the incident. Nicole would come home to her sitter and little Brenna but to no Orchid; no flower.
Nicole went for a walk alone. She just wished Orchid knew that they would get through this.
