Nicole has had a lot of stress dealing with the city of Rhodes and trying to convince both the Romulans and the Klingons that the Romulan exile city is not a threat to either of their empires. She was also trying to process the existence of Brenna Montgomery and her relationship with Captain Vanessa Sanders. She had a lot on her plate.
It had been Carleton Porter and Dr. S'Myy who brought Christmas to the colony. Nicole had been too busy to play Santa. Bella knew her human mate was sad about not being able to play a bigger part in the Earth holiday. Bella wanted to bring a Christmas to Nicole.
She finally figured out how. She waited for the Governor with a Christmas surprise of her own.
Nicole arrived home to find her Tellarite mate on her knees on the floor wearing nothing at all and holding a Christmas ball between her breasts. Nicole smiled, "This may the only time I will enjoy playing with your balls."
The girls shared a laugh and then something else.
