Time here in New York 2016 has given many an opportunity to watch television and to relearn and reclassify history of Earth in 2016. It has been even worse for aliens who cannot appear in the public eye like Generals Belvedere Brown or Tanus of Gorn.
Tanus was watching a documentary on the alligators of Earth. He was stunned to see the physiological similarities between the alligators of Earth and the Gorn. Tanus gasped as the alligator's penis was exposed. Like the Gorn, despite its massive size, the alligator's tool wa relatively small. Tanus was disgusted to learn that the penis is extracted and even kept as a souvenir during alligator hunts. Furious he tipped over the coffee table standing up upset at the very site.
Tanus stormed out of the room. He went back to the basement apartment he shared with Sammy Warren. Sammy knew that his lover was upset. They took the SWAT unit vehicle out to the woods near the edge of the city. This was the one place they could walk unseen by the public eye.
Sammy had changed from his police uniform into a pair of yoga pants and a beautiful oversize green sweater. He had done his makeup and did up his hair to appear as his feminine self. He looked at Tanus, "What's wrong?"
Tanus told the story and about being humiliated seeing the alligator penis, a close resemblance to his own on a key chain at the end of the episode. Tanus admitted that he was so embarrassed by the public showing of a Gorn penis that had he been in the Everglades with those hunters he would have shred them to pieces right there. The Gorn roared in anger.
Tanus looked at Sammy, "Why do you stay with me? Why would anyone?"
Sammy put her arm around the big Gorn and sat down again a tree looking up at her alien mate. Tanus looked down at Sammy. Sammy chuckled as she wiped her mouth standing up. She reached into her pocket and retrieved an alligator penis key chain of her own.
Tanus smiled, "Now for you that is appropriate because after that, you have my penis I your pocket forever."
The Gorn kissed Sammy on the forehead, "How did I ever get so lucky?"
