Vincent spent the morning teaching Star Fleet Protocol to a bunch of Jarada and Tamarians. Vincent never thought he would see the day. The insect like Jarada with their hierarchal structure were quick to buy in. The Tamarians have a staunch military structure built on dominance rather than one built on honor and obedience. Vincent enjoyed the debate between the students over how to establish officer status; be it about dominance or about demonstration of outstanding skill and therefore respect.
Vincent had seen both used in Star Fleet but had a tremendous respect for those who used the latter. To gain respect through performance of duty is the best route. Vincent walked into BLACK, Bobbi-Lee Ale, Coffee and Kanar. He was most impressed by the city street. It was so clean. The restoration of the colony in the last year has been nothing short of incredible.
He looked for Bobbi Lee.
She looked radiant and was invigorated when Vincent appeared. She never got up, only smiled and gave him a little wink as he grabbed a coffee.
Vincent sat down. The pair talked about the power fluxuations with respect to TNT vs. Omega. Vincent smiled. He was just so happy not to be talking about occupation.
