Baby Trista would not quit crying. Nana Loiza tried to walk her. Even papa Illyan tried to walk her. Orchid had been at the hospital all day. She came home exhausted. She however was a mother first. She too tried to walk her. Trista just kept crying.
Orchid would have done anything to get some sleep. She looked down at the baby, "I wish Mommy Nicole were here."
As soon as the words came out of her mouth, she wanted to grab them back. She could not believe she was saying it.
