Vincent stood next to the Lexington. He looked at Nicole and Magenta.
"It's just not worth, Nicole.", Vincent explained.
"It just won't fly.", Vincent looked at the archeological dig.
"There is too much work to do. We need something that can be done sooner than the NX will ever get into the air.", Vincent began ordering stuff taken back to the city. He was not prepared to divert resources to this archeological project that could be better served helping the Tamarians restore the mighty city of Tokyo.
Nicole and Magenta headed back to the city. Both were disappointed. Nicole walked into their suburban house. Magenta looked at Nicole, "What are we gonna do?"
"I don't know.", Nicole answered picking up the portable console on the floor. She tapped the console.

The computer chirped and chimed and then connected. William was amongst the chaos of the USS Benfold battle with the Romulans. The screen shook and vibrated as William listened to Nicole's complaints about what happened with the USS Queen Elizabeth II. William loved Nicole like a daughter but he often grew tired of her theatrics. Everything is not a crisis. William was much more concerned with the command of Alexander Hunt, his brother than with the musings of the overly dramatic Nicole Branson.

Nicole was always impressed with how calm William was in a crisis. He truly was capable of a keen understanding of what goes on. Nicole now had a task of her own. How the heck to get the Achilles to the Colony.
Nicole closed the console. Nicole contacted Vincent to inform him of the approval.
Vincent smiled, "Now can you let this Lexington pipe dream go to rest?"
Nicole never answered. She simply closed the console.
"What do you think?", Nicole looked at Magenta who came downstairs wearing only a pink negligee and cute pink slippers. Nicole could not believe how beautiful she was.
"One ship would be excellent but TWO ships would be incredible.", Magenta smiled.
Nicole smiled, "I guess we are going to play in the sand some more."
"I guess so... I always like playing in your sand... box.", Magenta giggled straddling the Vice Admiral.
