Vulcan Independence – Who knew? Empty
PostSubject: Vulcan Independence – Who knew?   Vulcan Independence – Who knew? EmptySun Jan 10, 2010 7:46 am

Nicole had been very quiet as she and Magenta walked in the coffee house. Magenta had not spoken much about anything since stepping down as Mayor of Tokyo. The pair would often discuss politics on the colony but Magenta was now focused on the Liwei Institute and teaching at the Omega Academy. Nicole finally looked at her.

"Did you know?", Nicole asked.

She looked up at the ONN coverage of the Anticans driving the Romulans back to their ship.

"What, sweetie?", Magenta asked.

"Don't be condescending.", Nicole scolded, "Did you know about the Anticans going up to respond?"

Magenta ordered a coffee. Bobbi-Lee was starting to show now and Magenta and her enjoyed a little small talk before Bobbi-Lee went to get the Bajoran coffee.

"You are not answering the question.", Nicole reinterated.

"It was a Phoenix Fleet matter.", Magenta responded.

"So you did know.", Nicole snapped.

"Colonel Fidelis left the Station. My mother told me. I did some checking.", Magenta explained.

"And you did not tell me.", Nicole responded.

"Nicole, you are the Vice President of the Phoenix Federation. If you had intimate knowledge of a covert operation to attack the Romulans against Star Fleet orders, your career could be hurt. I was only thinking of you.", Magenta put her hand on Nicoles.

"We are a couple. You need to tell me everything.", Nicole pulled her hand away.

"This is why I resigned.", Magenta responded in a huff.

"I cannot keep secrets from you. You have seen me naked in all my flaws.", Magenta continued, trying to break through Nicole's cold demeanor.

"I hated lying to you.", Magenta said.

"Don't let it happen again.", Nicole was still bitchy.

"When we get home, you can spank me.", Magenta winked.

Nicole was still mad.

Magenta grabbed her hand, "Don't be so bitchy. Get a coffee."

Nicole stood up. She was gonna walk away.

Vincent walked into the coffee house. Nicole turned around.

"And you!", she snapped.

"Be careful, Commodore. She's on the war path.", Magenta giggled.

"I should be informed when you are going behind Star Fleet and the Phoenix Federation's back.", Nicole snapped.

"This is a military matter and I, as the senior military officer had no knowledge of the Antican Defence League's decision to protect the Villa. Their actions were their own.", Vincent replied calmly. He could be so smug when he knew he was right. Nicole wanted to slap him.

"Colonel Belvedere Brown is a personal friend, Vin... cent! I look after his son. I know that they went up there to make sure the Villa would remain safe. I know that Colonel Fidelis led the "Dogs of War" to drive the Romulan Insurgency Special Operations Team back to the Hawk's Heaven at your behest.", Nicole scolded.

Vincent looked at Magenta.

"Hey, I didn't tell her. No one wants to piss her off. If Mama Nicole ain't happy, no ones happy.", Magenta giggled.

Vincent was getting mad too. He looked at Nicole, "You let your wife sleep with your mortal enemy to get information to forge an agreement with the Vulcans and you are pissed off at me for using my influence to protect the Villa. This is the Phoenix Colony. We will decide our own fate."

Nicole was very hurt that Vincent would bring up Ambassador's Plaza incident. She plunked down on the coffee house stool and lowered her chin to her arms pouting.

Vincent turned around, "Coffee, Bajoran, Beautiful."

Bobbi-Lee smiled at the comment and looked down at her ever growing belly. Vincent could always make her feel special.

The Commodore sat down with Magenta and Nicole, "These operations require a sense of delicacy, Nicole. I did not want to jeopardize your political career or the Colony's standing with the Phoenix Federation or Star Fleet. The problem is solved. You said it yourself, the ends justify the means."

Nicole sipped her coffee still pouting. She barely said a word. She thought about her choice to become the Political leader rather than the military leader. She looked at Vincent, "As senior representative of the Phoenix Federation, I would like to be informed of any and all covert operations."

Vincent stood up, "Just know this, Nicole. I will do nothing to jeopardize the people that I love."

Vincent put his arm around Bobbi-Lee as she brought fresh coffee. He leaned down and kissed Nicole on the forehead, "Everyone I love."

Vincent had always taken care of her. She realized that in that very action.

Nicole and Magenta got up to leave. She got near the door. Vincent handed her a napkin. Nicole took it outside and started walking down the street. The napkin had a handwritten note, "I will tell you in the future. VV"

Nicole smiled.

Magenta looked at her, "What is it?"

Nicole grabbed Magenta's butt, "I think someone is owed a spanking."

Magenta giggled and started to run towards the shuttle. Nicole chased her laughing.
