The Arcangel had just arrived at the Phoenix Colony, and is in the process of getting fully mission capable. A number of my staff are yet to arrive, but the Admiral assures me that they will be here soon. What a way to start off your first command.
I've met my XO. The Commander seems to be a thoroughly competent young officer.
It's hard to believe that the Vulcans are clamouring for independance from the Federation. They were founding members. I don't know what this means for the Vulcans in my crew. I'll have to call starfleet.
