Romulan Posturing Game – Problems: Real or Imagined Empty
PostSubject: Romulan Posturing Game – Problems: Real or Imagined   Romulan Posturing Game – Problems: Real or Imagined EmptySun May 09, 2010 7:41 pm

Mary Lou Cole had set up a fantastic gala for the Romulans and their contingent and Commander T'Ros after being involved in the planning did not show. Christine and Cole actually thought it was more posturing, more one-upmanship by the Romulans. Make the Federation dance to their tune.

The governor even accused them publicly of using this as a set up. Nicole and Magenta still enjoyed the meal. Vincent and Bobbi-Lee were even laughing and joking for the first time since Nicole Viceroy was kidnapped. One thing remains true, Mary Lou Cole can throw a gala event.

Christine walked into ONN late that night. She had been out to the Village with Cole Porter who had stayed there for the evening before proceeding back to Paris in the morning. She was very tired and never thought much of checking her logs. She turned them on and started walking around the office while the computer read the logs.

There was a message relayed from D'Solos Vreenak, Chief of Operations on the Archangel allegedly from her father Colonel Merken Vreenak stating that the Vidiian Sodality had regrouped in Rome and had kidnapped Commander T'Ros. The Vidiians may very well be in control of Vorta'Rome. Christine actually laughed believing it to be an exercise to distract the Phoenix Federation.

Christine played the other messages and was about to leave for her home in Omega Prime when she glaced over at the HUD screen. The image was a shock to her.

The look of terror on the face of Commander T'Ros caught her eye right away. The question remains, are the Romulans lying? Is this some sort of sympathy ploy after being caught with their hands in the Vidiian cookie jar?

Christine sent the image to Commodore Vincent Viceroy's residence as well as to Vice President Nicole Branson. Christine also forwarded the image to Governor's Station hoping its long range sensors could locate Commander T'Ros and to confirm the story.
