Dear Ms. Branson,
The United Federation of Planets and its representative staff wish to offer its
sincere condolences in the loss of your daughter, Commander Nancy Branson,
Chief Engineer and Executive Officer of the USS Princess Diana lost in battle
near the Romulan Colony of Romulan K-98 on the fringes of the Azure Nebula.
Due to the unfortunately but classified circumstances of her demise, no body
will be recovered.

Nicole read the letter over and over. Nancy had been like a mother to her when Tania was lost to the Borg. Nicole slumped down against the wall crying. The whole thing is falling apart. The Romulans have already seen the borg. The scouts routed their forces at Vorta'Rome. Now the Diana is lost to the borg at K-98.
"What am I going to do?", Nicole cried.
