Nicole felt Orchid get out of bed and go downstairs. She just rolled over and went back to sleep. She did not care that Orchid had been rolling and tossing all night, trying get comfortable. She had spent time at the bargaining table on Sparta and then had spent the evening processing Bajoran Students and arranging student housing. She just needed to sleep.
"Nikki!", Orchid yelled, clasping her stomach. She was in horrible pain. Nicole just covered her head.
"Orchid, I was up all night with the students and with Brenna. Get it yourself!", Nikki finally yelled back.
"Nikki, help me!!", Orchid yelled, "Help me."
Dr. Coren collapsed to the floor. The loud thud brought Nicole to her feet. She ran downstairs to find Orchid laying on the floor, her body literally convulsing in pain.

Dr. Greene ordered the pair beamed directly to an operating facility in the Dr. Leonard McCoy Teaching Hospital. Nicole immediately dispatched a security detail to Brenna Montgomery. Skye found Orchid unconscious and without any significant vitals. She shoed Nicole from the operating theatre.
"Orchid!!!", Nicole screamed.
Skye soon realized what had happened. Orchid's bizarre attempt to keep the baby alive had removed it from a slow germinating cloning both to a highly hormonalized Betazoid body. The baby almost immediately went from 4 1/2 months pregnant to 9 months pregnant literally tearing every muscle in the abdominal cavity of the young Betazoid doctor.
Skye was concerned more with Orchid than with the baby. She and Orchid had been close, even a brief couple. She frantically worked on the Viral Expert feverishly to try to save the life.
About 11 hours later, into the early morning, Dr. Skylight Greene delivered a baby girl to Dr. Orchid Coren and Vice Admiral Nicole Branson. Orchid was resting comfortably so the baby brought out to Nicole. Nicole started to cry.
Skye told Nicole that Orchid was going to be fine despite the fact that her body had endured an entire pregnancy in about 4 days. Orchid would be asleep for a while but Skye told Nicole that the baby was 100% okay.
Nicole hugged Skye, "You are an angel"
"What will you call her?", Skye asked.
"Trista Nancy Coren-Branson. We had already discussed that.", Nicole coyed, filled with the happiness of parenthood.
Skye smiled, "Like the Phoenix Unification, even in chaos life begins a new."
