"Have you ever wondered if you were doing the right thing?", Wave looked at Nicole sitting on a chair pouting.
"What are you asking?", Nicole looked over at the Talosian.
"Entering a loveless relationship for political gain and to protect refugees of your race.", Wave frowned.
Nicole knelt down and put her hand on top of Waverly's, "It does not have to be loveless."
She kissed the Talosian on he beak.
Wave looked at Nicole, "Are you sure?"
Nicole smiled, "If you can't love the one you want, love the one you are with."
She reached out the her hand. Waverly thought about the words. She did not want to be a second choice but she did not to be alone.
She slowly took the hand of the Governor.
