Professor T'tan was trying to reestablish Vulcan credibility at the Academy. She had begun teaching Vulcans in the manner she had been taught. She was trying to fix the damage caused by Vulcans who had embraced emotion like Captain S'Nii.
T'tan had gone so far in one of her lectures to show the failures of S'Nii as evidence that her choices do not make for a better Vulcan. She held up Captain S'Nii against great Vulcans like Spock or T Zohl.
Word of the critical approach got out to the King's Fleet vessels. T'tan had asked the members of the senior command to see in photos of the Vulcans aboard their ships to show young Vulcans how to live and make good choices. T'tan knew that despite the actions of S'Nii, there would be many Vulcans who had embraced the proper way who would successful in the King's Fleet.
Bethany looked at the communique. She wished there was a way to show up the holier than thou Vulcan professor. S'Myy looked at her commanding officer and her lover nod smiled, "She wants a picture of Vulcans doing what they do best on the vessels. Maybe we should give her that."
"But how will that help?", Bethany asked.
"What do I do best on this ship?", Sammy teased.
"You are the Executive Officer. You do many things very well, S'Myy. I would be hard pressed to pick one.", Bethany complimented her first officer.
"No silly, the one thing I do best here is entice you.", S'Myy winked.
Professor T'tan was flipping through the images when S'Myy appeared. Enraged, T'tan tossed the PADD across the room in a very un-Vulcan response. This was not what she had hoped for.
This is not the Vulcan way.
