"We have no way of knowing the status of the marine corps.", General Brown looked at Nicole.
"Yet you still support this decision.", Nicole looked at Bell.
"If the Klingons are going use the Jem'Hadar provided by the Breen on the battlefield, we have no other option but to turn off the climate control system. The Jem'Hadar are going to have to fight in the snow. They will struggle. Our units have been here in the snow since we came. We can defeat them in the snow.", Bell looked at Nicole.
"But what about our citizenry? They have moved from the wooden structures into the igloos after the Grace Gra'Naarg only to get to move into Camden Yards and now they are thrust back into the cold.", Nicole frowned.
"If we cannot stop the uprising at Qam'Chee, it won't matter for any of them.", Bell looked at Nicole.
"Your refugee city will be little more than Qam'Lot, a Klingon prison camp on Reykja Penthe.", Bell stormed out pissed off.
Nicole stood there. She looked out the window as the snow started to fall and the cold started to creep in. What hell had her decision to give the Klingons a city on the planet brought her people?
Nicole went up to the Camden Yards apartment she shared with Jaskalla Naar'Haaj. She called to Jaskalla who invited her upstairs. Jaskalla had to know the stress that the Governor was under over the power of the Klingons on the surface. She needed to think about something else other than her campaign for the city of Qam'Chee.
Nicole walked into the bathroom. Jaskalla was sitting on the floor clad only in a towel. She slowly handed Nicole a glass of wine and dropped the towel.
Nicole knelt down to the floor and kissed her lover. Jaskalla was right. It was time to think of something other than the mistakes that have been made.
