Franklin has always been a bit chubby. His appearance fit the mobster stereotype perfectly. He was the "fat cat" but amongst the Stone family he was known as Fluffy, a derogatory term referring to the common Earth domesticated cat name.
After he left the Syndicate and worked as a mercenary and a pilot, he often referred to himself asFluffy, not as a derogatory thing but instead to show that the Syndicate could not hurt him anymore. He even wrote it on the cockpit of his fighter as a call sign. He did not want them to have any power over him.
He never worked to hard on his appearance. He was cubby but he was strong. He had fought on the ground and in the air. He was comfortable with who he was. He would often ask Paul if he was okay with how his chunky lover looked. Paul told Franklin he was in love with his heart and soul and not his body type.
Paul however was different. He worked very hard to maintain his skinny appearance so he could wear feminine clothing. In 2395, as has been for all eternity, the best fashions are set up for the most beautiful people. Paul often did sit-ups and crunches and took fat burning supplements to keep his small frame. Franklin would often ask him who he was trying to impress. The answer was simple, "You, my darling."
Franklin walked out into the common area of the quarters he shared with First Lieutenant Paul Warren. Paul was standing there looking out at the stars, "How Do I look?"
"Amazing.", Franklin observed. He knew how lucky he was.
