Magenta opened the envelop and started jumping up and down. The envelop, from Star Fleet Academy, contained a PADD with an image on it. A doctorate of sciences. Magenta was screaming when Nicole and Brenna came around the corner.
Magenta turned the PADD around. Nicole smiled, "Congratulations, Doctor."
The girls kissed. Nicole felt very uneasy and pulled back. Magenta could feel it too.
"It's S'Nii, isn't it?", Magenta asked.
"Yes.", Nicole frowned.
"I am going to resign as Mayor of Tokyo. I have already spoken to the Tamarian Ambassador. I don't want to be part of the politics anymore.", Magenta held Nicole's fingers.
"I know you liked kissing her.", Nicole frowned.
"She is a good kisser.", Nicole paused.
"This is a test for us, Nicole. I am married to you.", Magenta held her hand as they sat next to each other in their living room.
"Magenta, you have to know for sure. You have to go to her.", Nicole frowned.
"We are not breaking up.", Magenta exclaimed.
"You're breaking up.", Brenna shouted.
"No honey. We are not breaking up.", Magenta rubbed her hair.
Nicole and Magenta went to Governor's Tower. Magenta saw S'Nii walking from the tower. She went over and stood there for a few minutes. She had to know. She smiled when she saw S'Nii but said nothing. She just stood there. She wanted to know if the connection they made for the negotiations was just that or a real sense of love.
Nicole watched with her heart in her throat. Magenta smiled and ran back to Nicole. She looked at Nicole. She did not say a word. No words were necessary. The pair just kissed.
