"Admiral, Captain's, Miss Governor, I am ready to lead these new ships into the Beta Quadrant and I know my task group is new.
We haven't gotten many things ready but I do request that since my task group is going to the Quadrant, the hellraiser will take the long trip", Jason spoke eloquently in front of the leadership of the colony
"My Flagship will be waiting for them. The Phoenix Fleet can think of this as a Breakdown Cruise for the Hellraisers and the Shakedown Run for them." Jason said looking and the people at the large table.
Vincent looked at John, "Do you think he is ready?"
"I think he needs some seasoning but he is not gonna get that here. He needs to do this.", John observed.
"The Romulans will be watching. And the Klingons.", Vincent looked at John.
"Let's not forget that the Federation is also not pleased with any exploration of the Beta Quadrant either.", John observed.
Vincent smiled at Jason, "I hope you know what you are getting yourself into."
Jason smiled, "I do and I welcome the challenge."
Commander T'Zohl stood up and headed for the door.
"Commander?", John looked at his Vulcan specialist.
"At least he has the Prometheus, the Achilles haul is filled with the history of the Phoenix Federation, the colony and the Phoenix Liberation War. The ship is ready. Let's hope our young Captain is as well.", T'Zohl observed.
"I am ready.", Jason blurted out.
"I hope so, young man. I hope so.", the Vulcan disappeared from the conference room.
Nicole looked at Jason, "Good luck!"
