Magenta looked at Nicole as she walked into their home. Nicole took off her scarf. She knew Magenta had something to say.
"What?", Nicole finally blurted out.
"Rodney told me that Brenna often goes out through the woods in the back of the park at James Kirk Elementary.", Magenta stated.
"Where does she go?", Nicole asked.
"That is my question exactly.", Magenta snapped.
"What is back there?", Nicole asked.
"I am told it borders on the reservation.", Magenta responded.
"The Togre?", Nicole looked a bit scared.
Nicole walked over to the HUD. Magenta looked puzzled, "You are gonna watch television?"
"Um... no.", Nicole responded.
"Elora.", she tapped her communicator.
"Can you redirect the scanners from Governor's Station to the area behind James Kirk Elementary?", Nicole responded.
"Do we have a security breach?", Commander Vasa asked.
"Something like that.", Nicole responded.
"This is Togre Reservation.", Elora observed.
"I know. Can you then rewind the observations to about 2:45 pm this afternoon?", Nicole responded.
"I will have to clean up the image.", Elora responded. "It won't be 100% accurate."
"What are we looking for?", Elora responded.
"Brenna Montgomery.", Nicole responded.
"Your daughter?", Elora blurted out.
"Yes. She has been playing in the woods back there.", Nicole's worry showed in her voice.
Elora was a mom too. At home, she had 1 year old Colby and 2 year old Nicolas. She understood the need to know.
Elora looked at the image, "You are not gonna like this Nicole."
"Oh my god!", Nicole exclaimed.
Brenna came strolling in at that moment. Nicole turned around and shouted, "What the hell were you thinking?"
"Ah mom!", Brenna answered.
"Don't ah mom me! This is so dangerous.", Nicole screamed.
"They are not dangerous. They are just big. They are wonderful. They are amazing!", Brenna smiled.
"They are Togre. They are the most feared ground force on the colony.", Nicole shouted.
"If I ever find out you are with them again, I will ground your forever!", Nicole screamed.
"Mom, you can't tell me who my friends are.", Brenna stormed upstairs.
"How did you find out about them?", Magenta tried to calm the situation.
"T'Yen showed me.", Brenna shouted.
"Who is T'Yen?", Magenta asked.
"She is Commander T'tan's daughter.", Brenna responded.
"T'tan has a daughter?", Nicole responded.
"Yes. The Togre call her Princess T'Yen.", Brenna responded. "They wait on her hand and foot."
Nicole looked at Magenta, "What?"
Magenta shrugged. The Judge Advocate General and former Mayor of the Villa was not amongst her friends. She knew that Nicole and T'tan were once close. She did not want her around.
"We will talk about his later, young lady.", Nicole grumbled.
Brenna stormed upstairs. She had a friend. Nothing more.
