In the Handout Line Empty
PostSubject: In the Handout Line   In the Handout Line EmptySat Feb 12, 2011 11:08 am

At 15:21 PM on February 3, 2011, An elite force of highly trained Klingons made an ill fated attempted to garner food stuffs from the Arboritium in Omega Prime. Sources close to the incident indicate that Hyla Teero and the Omega Prime police under the authority of Captain Robert E. Leo fought the force with great resistence to protect the food source.

The replicator crisis has begun to show ugly roots with the potential shortage of food stuffs beginning to weigh on the populace. The Klingons are the first group to make a play for the famous garden but the question has been raised by a number of city states.

The Klingon resources were so depleted from the brutality of the quelling of the Primatos Hunt and the occupation of Kalama by the Cardassians and recent wars that they are without food to support the population.

Worse yet, Legate Thua'ra Varno confirmed that Terok Beta's systems were now coming back online. This included non-Omega based replicator technology. Gul Thandie Varno has already begun to take ration requests.

ONN was on Terok Beta when General Kabarann and her inner circle of Klingon Generals arrived via shuttle. Thandie served the other mayors making Hon'Tihl wait until the end.

The colony was watching. Thandie was standing there surveying the scene. She waited a long time before finally walking over to Hon'Tihl and her staff. Christine hunkered in close to catch the scoop.

Thandie took a deep breath, "A long time ago, nearly 3 year now, many Cardassians came to Omega Prime at an invitation from Governor Nicole Branson with the offer of rebuilding their reputation and an offer to forgo a history of warfare and occupation. The Phoenix Federation offered its support to the Hebetian Democratic Government of Cardassian and Minister Elim Garak. This was done in spite of the occupation of Bajor and the horrible genocide committed by past Cardassian Leadership. Today, I offer you the same offer, General. I offer you a chance to rebuild your reputation despite the occupation of the colony, the near genocide of the Primatos Hunt and the expulsion of the Cardassians from Kalama. I offer you this as a gesture of peace. I give you bread for you table."

The entire station exploded in clapping. Thandie Varno and Terok Beta had brought the colony back to its very roots. Ths was a place where people could come, regardless of their history, recent or historic and rebuild their reputation.

Christine could not believe what the restoration of the crappy old abandoned Nor had done for the colony. It was vibrant once more. Everyone was working to a common goal...

Prevent Starvation: Keep people out of the handout line.
