CherryVasa was invited by Tiger Vasa to help with the communications integration on the USS Princess Diana now being constructed in Dry Docks at Lt. Governor's Station.
Commodore Tan and her cousin Summer hosted a big gala to announce the appointment of Commodore Tania Branson as head of the King's Fleet. Nicole came to honor her mother. She sat at the table with Colonel Teero and Hattie Hatherton as the pair invited Tiger and Cherry to sit with them.
Nicole was not really interested in listening to the engineers talk shop. Cherry could see her frustration. She looked at Nicole, "Would you care to dance?"
"Huh? No.", Nicole bluntly responded.
"I know you are not having any fun listening to these engineers talk about construction protocols.", Cherry announced.
"No offence but after what has happened, I don't want any part of the Betazoid Alliance. Magenta, Orchid, Elizabeth and Illyan can have their little power play.", Nicole sarcastically announced.
"The Vasa clan shares your frustation with the Coren and Laree families. Why do you think so many serve in Star Fleet?", Cherry joked.
"Now how about that dance?", Cherry re-asked.
Nicole turned to see Hattie and Acrylos start into a big discussion about propulsion variables between a Galaxy Class and the IRW Diana. Nicole just wanted out of there.
During the twirling, Nicole got an odd feeling. She had not felt it in a long, long time.
