Summer looked at Autumn, "Why all this concern with Branson?"
"Camelot is within the Betazoid Alliance. If we wanted the Dilthium, we could hold it by force, particularly now with the Black Orchid. Why would the Alliance continue to let her continue?", Summer looked at Autumn.
"You don't understand. You are a Vasa. The house is too far removed from the dichotomy that his Laree and Coren. These houses were once forever linked in the great power of Betazed. She is, no she was created by Admiral Tim Veltkamp. The link that Baby Trista brought made the Alliance whole again. When Addison killed Orchid, the whole thing was lost again. The thing is, the Alliance wants and needs Branson back. It is this connection that will bring the Houses of Betazoid back to whole again. This is why Rose Coren was selected. She will seduce and make the connection with Branson and we will be able to use this to help rebuild the power of the Betazoids within the Federation.", Autumn explained.
Summer looked at Autumn, "What about Rose or Nicole for that matter? The Betazoids are an emotional people. The connection will be real. Do you think she can do it?"
"She is closer to Elizabeth than to her own mother Elena. She will do the job.", Autumn smiled.
Rhythm interrupted the pair in Autumn's ready room, "Sorry to interrupt."
"What is it, doctor?", Summer looked up perterbed.
"We may have a problem.", Rhythm looked at Autumn.
"And what might that be, Doctor?", Autumn looked up.
"I think you should see, Captain. We have been monitoring the activity aboard the USS Trojan Horse. As you have said, watch the inside of the Horse, it is where the danger lies. Chancellor Branson has been meeting with the students and tonight she is scheduled to meet with Dr. Lily Gral to discuss the psychology of her students.", Rhythm explained.
"And how is this a concern for us?", Autumn looked at the Aquarian floating in the hover chair.
Rhythm reached over and tapped the console on the Captian's desk, "It is not the meeting but how she is dressed for the meeting, Ma'am."
"Damn!", Autumn snapped.
