Interacting with the inhabitants of Brooklyn in 2016 has been a bit difficult for many of the officers in the temporal assignment. One person who has not struggled has been Sympathy Ford becoming a doctor and moving beyond the confines of the helm chair becoming much more.
Sympathy has even found love with Admiral Tan who believed in her potential in understanding the primitive medicine of 2016. Tan stayed up late with Sympathy becoming a mentor, friend and the voice of confidence in building a great doctor. Just as Nicole Branson had Dr. Skylight Greene when no one else believed she could, Sympathy became a doctor because Admiral Tan believed in her.
Sympathy has had to serve in trauma in her residency. Trauma is a special place. Doctors spend long hours dealing with persons in their darkest hour. This creates great doctors but also breeds cocky confidence. When you go to war with death and win, invincibility complex is sure to develop.
Cocky confidence tends to spill over into other activities in life so when a young doctor saw the beautiful cougar known as Dr. Sympathy Ford, he had to make his play. Sympathy promptly reminded the young man that she was in a relationship with an older man referring to the Hierarchy Clanner who secretly ran the day to day operations of King's County Medical.
The young man would not hear of it, "Please have some Sympathy" became his rallying cry. Sympathy finally had to tell the young man she would never end up together.
The young doctor finally ended his quest with a single question, "How can an old man be bigger than me?"
Sympathy put the cocky young doctor in his place, "Sonny, his finger is bigger than you,"
The young doctor was left to wonder about the professor who wooed his elusive doctor. He could not have known about the history of the Hierarchy Clanner.
