As the coverage of the war begins and concern raises throughout the colony about the sanctity and safey of the USS Queen Elizabeth II as the ship was supposed to save us from any future outside attack. Now, we have learned that Colonel Belvedere Brown has agreed to take over the Phoenix Marines, to be known in his honor as the Phoenix Defence League with the war effort entering its 12th hour.
After the tragic death of Dr. Orchid Coren, even I, Christine T'Nley of the Omega News Network needed to offer my condolences to Vice Admiral Nicole Branson but she does somethings that are just plain stupid. On the morning after war is declared on the colony, she walked Brenna Montgomery to James T. Kirk Elementary and then she returned home to go shopping with Lt. Magenta Coren.
Yes, you heard me correctly. Pictures were snapped today at Branson Bazaar in the Village. There is a war going on. She is a member of the Legislative Assembly. She is a part of the government. Yet, today, she is shopping. I don't know if I should be surprised.
Admiral Illyan Coren and Admiral Eugenio Coren must be dismayed to see Lt. Magenta Coren chumming around with the Vice Admiral considering the history of the Coren family and our own Vice Admiral Nicole Branson.
Commodore Vincent Viceroy refused to comment on the activities of the Star Fleet Executive Officer stating only that she was not "in the office this morning."
How appropriate, Vincent is doing the work. Nicole is shopping. And we wonder why a civilian was elected governor...
