At first it was alleged that the new accompaniment for Vice Admiral Nicole Branson was simply a pet. She was overhead expressing her loneliness to USS Queen Elizabeth II Executive Officer Magenta Coren and Lt. Coren told her to get a dog.
Leave it to Nicole not to get just any dog. The pet was allegedly a chance to provide a special friend for Brenna Montgomery with the tragic loss of Trista Coren-Branson, affectionately known as TCB. ONN sources however have done some further research.
This "dog" is much more than originally believed. The dog is actually the Antican child of Colonel Belvedere Brown and an unnamed human on the colony. The mother abandoned the offspring and left for Earth shortly after its birth. The offspring has been cared for by social services in Paris since that time with Colonel Brown having more pressing matters including the Jersey Juggernaut.
Apparently, Nicole was searching for a pet to help her loneliness while Magenta, S'Nii and the student staff try to get the bucket of bolts to shakedown in space. She was in conference with Colonel Brown about battle field updates when the ward of the state came up. Nicole offered to help the offspring. The colonel was very nearly moved to tears.
ONN sources have picked up images of Vice Admiral Branson and the male child known as "Duke" leaving the hospital in Paris.
Duke Brown is now part of the blended family of our Vice Admiral. Don't worry, Colonel. He is in good hands.
