Elizabeth walked into the Federation Complex Offices. Vincent was still dealing with returning troops to the Phoenix Fleet. His desk was covered with crew dossiers for the four ships in the King's Battle Group. His job was absolute chaos.

Elizabeth looked at Vincent, "Are you gonna run?"

"I sure would like to run from all this.", Vincent laughed.

"No, silly. Run for Governor.", Elizabeth laughed, leaning over his desk.

"Oh no! I have already piloted that ship. Not for me.", Vincent retorted.

"And this is?", Elizabeth pointed to all the materials all in a huff.

"What's the problem?", Vincent looked puzzled at the Betazoid.

"Nothing.", Elizabeth stormed out in a huff. She had been in a dither for a week since the Klingons ripped her station apart. She was furious with Commander Teero who used the industrial replicators to build the Phoenix Trade Center and not to fix the station.

Vincent continued to working. Elizabeth headed out to Wells City. She wandered around for a couple of hours before she found Eugenio sitting with some old Star Fleet Officers on the patio of a Wells City Lounge. She walked over and sat down.

"Are you gonna run?", Elizabeth asked.

"Run for what?", Eugenio smiled. He knew but he was playing the game.

"Governor!", Elizabeth smiled. Soon the pair were talking about what it would mean for the Mayor of Wells City and former Commander of Governor's Station to be Governor.

"I could be very helpful in this regard.", Elizabeth smiled.

"How helpful?", Eugenio flirted.

"Very...", Elizabeth responded.

Eugenio held out his hand. The pair disappeared to the Mayor's Mansion in Wells City. The afternoon was spent getting "re-acquainted."

Vincent worked feverishly to get the crews reassigned. He arrived at his place in the Omega Gated Community to find Elizabeth packing.

"What the hell?", Vincent snapped.

"I am leaving you. You and I are just different.", Elizabeth growled.

"Where the hell are you going?", Vincent asked.

"Wells City.", Elizabeth retorted.

"To Eugenio!", Vincent snapped.

"Yes.", Elizabeth turned to Vincent.

"At least he knows what he wants. You have no idea!", Elizabeth shouted.

"You Betazoids are all the f**king same!", Vincent yelled.

"You are a fool. You could have the power here. You are popular.", Elizabeth screamed.

"I would rather be an honorable soldier than a dishonorable politician and that is what it takes.", Vincent yelled.

"Power is power!", Elizabeth screamed.

"No one will leave my station without protection again. No one will build a freaking theme park for credit traders and leave my station badly damaged again. We will win and you will show me and Eugenio the respect we deserve, Commodore.", Elizabeth stormed out.

Vincent took off his uniform and just went for a walk. He saw Bobbi-Lee sweeping in front of BLACK, obviously closed already and walked towards her. He stopped several times. He was finally close enough to see her.

He gave a very small wave. She smiled, "Hello Vincent."

It somehow felt inviting. He walked over. She looked at him, "How have you been?"

"Fine. Better now that the war with the Klingons is over.", Vincent smiled.

"Do you want a coffee?", Bobbi-Lee asked.

"I'd love one.", Vincent smiled and followed her inside.

"Any word on Elora or Cherry?", Bobbi-Lee asked.

"No, unfortunately. Even the surrendered Klingons have no idea where Kreeg took them. Colonel Brown's troops continue to look. I also believe Marcus Dinn is looking for the ladies.", Vincent responded.

A little wimper came from behind the counter. Bobbi-Lee walked over and picked up little Nicole Viceroy. Vincent felt the warmth of the love a child as Bobbi-Lee turned towards him. Vincent was almost moved to tears as he saw the little baby.

"Would you like to hold her?", Bobbi-Lee asked.

Vincent held the little girl. His eyes were wet with tears as he thought about another Viceroy in the universe. This was a special moment.

"I sure hope Chief Lexington is treating you well, my princess.", Vincent rubbed his nose on her tiny abdomen.

"Vincent, there is no more Phillip. He is with a female fire fighter now. Apparently, they were together even before he started coming around here.", Bobbi-Lee explained.

"Me and Baby Nicole will be fine.", Bobbi-Lee smiled.

"Bobbi-Lee, Elizabeth left me today.", Vincent blurted out.

"REALLY!?!", Bobbi-Lee exclaimed. She tried to hide her excitement. She never felt safe with anyone other than Vincent.

Vincent and Bobbi-Lee talked into the night. Vincent even changed the baby once about 4 am. Vincent laid the baby back into the bassonette and put it back in the back room. He walked out. Bobbi-Lee was sitting on the coffee counter. She looked at him in a way he had not seen in far too long.

"This has been a special night, Vincent. I never thought this would ever be possible.", Bobbi-Lee smiled.

"There is just one more thing that would make this evening... um no morning.", Bobbi-Lee giggled more perfect.

Bobbi-Lee unbuttoned her shirt. Vincent remembered how his life changed with Elizabeth and how his life once was. He remembered how much older he was then Bobbi-Lee. He remembered how special she was.

Their perfect union was reborn in that moment at 5 am on March 3, 2389 on the Phoenix Colony symbolizing the rebirth of colony itself torn apart by a war with the Klingons and the blood shedding of the Omega Offensive.

Vincent never slept a wink but was reborn, rejuvenated and even filled with a smile as he headed back to the Federation Complex.

He could not believe how quickly Elizabeth had set to work. Images of Eugenio filled the sky in Omega Prime and Veltkamp Village. Rear Admiral Eugenio Coren for Governor!

Vincent shook his head. The truth is, today he did not care. Elizabeth may believe she was now attached to a winner. With Bobbi-Lee, Vincent knew for certain, he was attached to a winner.
