T'Zohl stood on the bridge of the Quest for the night shift. Wolf was on the helm but no one else was up on the shift. T'Zohl had been more diligent than John about personnel on the bridge off of shift.
"Enjoying command, Captain?, the handsome African American pilot asked.
"It is different, that much is certain.", the Vulcan gave a forced smile.
"Wanna have a seat?", Wolf smiled. He knew that the greatest pilot in the history of the King's Fleet missed the helm and the amazing touch of the controls.
"I couldn't.", T'Zohl replied logically.
Wolf patted the copilots chair hard and grinned. T'Zohl sat down and was almost exhilarated as she touched the controls. She was soon banking the mighty Sovereign with the grace of her skill.
Soon Wolf and T'Zohl were in a playful game of control. It was truly amazing to watch the young upstart match wits with the legend. T'Zohl grinned, "Over here."
The Vulcan pointed to a throttle control on her console. Wolf had his opportunity. He placed his hand, not on the console but on her leg. The beautiful Vulcan pointed to the console, "Up here, boy."
"Down here is much better and believe me the throttle is having a response.", Wolf laughed.
T'Zohl looked at her copilot and then stood up and went back to the row of command chairs. Wolf brought the ship back to level and back to her patrol route. There were Romulans afoot.
Russia came up to the bridge. The beautiful Andorian yawned as she entered the bridge, "Issues?"
She had to wonder why the ship had banked so often during the night.
"None to report.", Captain T'Zohl announced.
She and Wolf entered the Turbo Lift heading down to the crew decks. They exited together. Wolf started down to his quarters.
T'Zohl looked at Wolf, "Maybe we should inspect that throttle. It seemed a little stiff to me."
Wolf was very impressed by the innuendo from the Vulcan Captain.
"You are right of course, Captain. It would just not be right going to sleep without knowing for sure.", Wolf smiled.
The pair disappeared towards the Captain's quarters.
